Netflix just released the official trailer for their upcoming sci-fi film, Extinction. Check the official poster and photos in the gallery, and watch the Extinction trailer in the player below!

A working class father of the future faces recurring dreams of destruction by an unknown force. When his unwanted nightmares begin to affect his relationship with his family, he soon realizes they may be the key to a horrible reality, as a relentless alien attack begins to destroy the Earth. As the invaders’ assault progresses, he is forced to find both the strength to protect his family and an understanding of who he truly is.

The film stars Michael Peña (Ant-Man and the Wasp), Lizzy Caplan (Masters of Sex), Mike Colter (Marvel’s Luke Cage), and Israel Broussard (Happy Death Day).

Extinction is directed by Ben Young (Hounds of Love) and is written by Spenser Cohen (The Driver). Todd Lieberman (Beauty and the Beast), David Hoberman (Wonder), and Alex Young (Hitman: Agent 47) are producers of the film.

Extinction will be released on Netflix on July 27.
