Destination Wedding trailer promises charming anti-rom-com
Aviron Pictures has revealed the first trailer for the rom-com Destination Wedding, starring Keanu Reeves (John Wick) and Winona Ryder (Stranger Things). Check out the Destination Wedding trailer below!
Reeves and Ryder (Girl Interrupted, Stranger Things) star in Victor Levin’s (5 to 7) comedy about two miserable and unpleasant wedding guests, both pariahs at this affair, who develop a mutual affection despite themselves. But to act on those feelings would be to trust hope over experience, a foolish choice indeed. This film marks the fourth collaboration between the two stars after they appeared together in Bram Stoker’s Dracula, A Scanner Darkly and The Private Lives of Pippa Lee, and the trailer shows their chemistry has not wavered nor diminished, still proving them as charming as ever together.
Sunshine Pictures’ Gail Lyon produced Destination Wedding with Two Camel Films’ Elizabeth Dell alongside Robert Jones for The Fyzz Facility, which is fully financing the film. Elevated’s Cassian Elwes and The Fyzz Facility’s Wayne Marc Godfrey are executive producing.
The film is currently set for an August 24, 2018 release.
