Disney has released a mind-bending new TV spot for A Wrinkle in Time
Walt Disney Pictures has released a new TV spot for their upcoming mind-bending adventure, A Wrinkle in Time, from visionary director Ava DuVernay (Selma).
The film is based on Madeleine L’Engle’s timeless classic novel that takes Meg Murry (Storm Reid), her brilliant brother Charles Wallace (Deric McCabe), and their friend Calvin (Levi Miller) on an unexpected journey into alternate dimensions on a mission to bring home their father. A Wrinkle in Time examines the nature of darkness versus light and, ultimately, the triumph of love. Through one girl’s transformative journey led by three celestial guides, we discover that strength comes from embracing one’s individuality and that the best way to triumph over fear is to travel by one’s own light.
The cast for A Wrinkle in Time also includes Oprah Winfrey (Selma) as Mrs. Which, Reese Witherspoon (Wild) as Mrs. Whatsit, Mindy Kaling (The Mindy Project) as Mrs. Who, Chris Pine (Star Trek Beyond) as Mr. Murry, Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Beauty and The Beast) as Mrs. Murry, Zach Galifianakis (Birdman) as The Happy Medium, Michael Peña (Ant-Man) as Red, and André Holland (Moonlight) as Principal Jenkins.
The film is produced by Jim Whitaker and Catherine Hand and written by Frozen’s Jennifer Lee.
