If you thought David Tennant was creepy as Zebediah Killgrave in Netflix’ Jessica Jones, then be prepared for Tennant as a kidnapper/murderer in Electric Entertainment’s Bad Samaritan.
Sean (Robert Sheehan) is a valet who seems to have it all, but we find out it’s because he’s been burglarizing his customers’ homes. In comes Cale Erendreich (Tennant), a successful businessman, who Sean attempts to steal from until he finds a woman being held captive in Erendreich’s home. Sean leaves and reports to the police, who find nothing. Now Sean must deal with the wrath of a kidnapping murderer who will stop at nothing to destroy him.
Although we did see his portrayal of a villain in Jessica Jones, Tennant looks truly evil in Bad Samaritan, which is such a long way from being Doctor Who’s fan-favorite, the Tenth Doctor. Though, it seems fans may need to get used to this cranky, mean version of Tennant as he has been accepting roles that show off his darker side lately.
Written by Brandon Boyce and directed by Dean Devlin, the cast also includes Kerry Condon, Jacqueline Byers, Lisa Brenner, Hannah Barefoot, Rob Nagle and Delpaneaux Wills. Boyce, Rachel Olschan-Wilson, and Marc Roskin serve as producers, with Brandon Lambdin and Carsten H.W. Lorenz executive producing.
Bad Samaritan opens in select theaters on March 30th.

Bad Samaritan Official Synopsis:
A valet (Robert Sheehan) develops a clever scam to burglarize the houses of rich customers. Things go smoothly until he robs the wrong customer (David Tennant), and discovers a woman being held captive in his home. Afraid of going to prison, he leaves the woman there and makes a call to the police, who find nothing when they investigate. Now, the valet must endure the wrath of the kidnapper who seeks revenge on him, all while desperately trying to find and rescue the captive woman he left behind.
