Thor: Ragnarok goes 4D with The Late Late Show with James Corden

In honor of the opening weekend of Marvel’s Thor Ragnarok, The Late Late Show’s Jame Corden decided to gather the cast of the film to present the first ever 4D budget show to lucky audience members.

Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Tessa Thompson (Valkryie), Jeff Goldblum (the Grandmaster) and Cate Blanchett (Hela) all gathered together for one night to create “Thor: Ragnarok 4D”. Audience members were shocked to find the star-studded cast all on stage performing their roles.

“Is Thor 4D a practical business model? Probably not, because we can’t perform live in every movie theater. But, perhaps, they can tape one performance and stream it live. Oh, that’s just a movie, isn’t it? said Tom Hiddleston, dressed in a poorly made wig.

Blanchett, in the comedy bit, says, “I think those poor people just want to watch the movie.”

The reenactment of the scenes was hilarious, which included Goldblum on a razor scooter, Ruffalo in a full puffy Hulk costume, and Hemsworth holding up lighting props. Of course, the video doesn’t show the actual ending of the film, because that would not be fair for some people who haven’t seen the movie. It’s just a parody version. So, don’t worry. No spoilers.

Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok brought in $14.5 million on Thursday night alone across domestic theaters, making it the fourth best Thursday night debut of 2017 following Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 ($17 million), Beauty and the Beast ($16.3 million), and Spider-Man: Homecoming ($15.4 million). Thor: Ragnarok has made $306 million internationally. Combine it with this weekend’s domestic numbers, the film has made $427 million.
