Fortnite Battle Royale Playerunknown's Battleground PUBG

Battle Royale PvP games are in, with Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds selling over 15 million copies (via SteamSpy) and having 2 million concurrent players today. (It beat out Dota 2’s record of 1.3 million.) Now we have Epic Games joining in on the fun with the free-to-play Fortnite Battle Royale, which has amassed over 10 million players since its launch on September 26th. It’s a damn good time to be a fan of battle royale games.

Today, PUBG has peaked at 2,016,498 players, according to the Steam stats.

Epic Games has released a fun infographic on Fortnite Battle Royale different stats. Check it out below.

Playerunknown’s Battleground is a multiplayer deathmatch game that is inspired by the Japanese film, Battle Royale. In the game, you compete against 99 other players on a gigantic map to become the last man standing. It will be coming soon to the Xbox One with a PlayStation 4 version coming after.

Fortnite Battle Royale is available for free on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Mac. The game has you competing with 99 other players as you drop onto a giant map to become the last person standing. Once you land, your mission is to collect the best weapons and hopefully take out the competition before they take you out. What makes this battle royale game unique is that you can build and destroy buildings and trees in order to create a fort or get to hard-to-reach places.
