A lot of new trailers came out during Paris Games Week for the PlayStation 4 including Marvel’s Spider-Man, Ghost of Tsushima, Detroit: Become Human, and God of War. Yeah, you can say it’s a great time to be a PlayStation gamer. In addition to the upcoming games mentioned, they will also be getting The Last of Us Part II from Naughty Dog. A new trailer has been released, and it gives us a violent and gritty scene involving characters who aren’t Joel and Ellie.
Brace yourselves, because the trailer is very intense.
Creative Director Neil Druckmann revealed some information about the new trailer, but he also withholds information about the characters seen in the trailer. What we do know is that Naughty Dog wants to explore other characters and how they navigate a post-apocalyptic world in the Last of Us universe. With that said, fans everywhere are wondering, “Who the hell are these characters, and will they cross paths with the characters from the first game?!”
The Last of Us Part II is a third-person survival horror/action game exclusive to the PlayStation 4. It is written by Neil Druckmann and Halley Gross with Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson reprising their roles as Joel and Ellie, respectively.
The release date is still unknown at this point.
