Mass Effect: Andromeda ended up as one of the more criticized games in the long-respected RPG series from BioWare and EA. Despite the negativity, many others brushed off the low reviews and liked the latest entry, including Nerd Reactor.
Well, for those who sit on the fence and subscribe to EA’s Origin Access as well, they can now play the game for free.
What does it take to subscribe to EA Origin?
According to the EA Origin website, “Become a member for just $4.99/month or $29.99/year.”
Mass Effect: Andromeda is included the section called The Vault. In the Origin Access FAQ, it states “The Vault is a growing collection of great PC games included in your membership. We’re talking full versions, yours to play as much as you want.” In other words, there is no restriction on the amount of time someone can play, as long as the fees are paid.
For other options, the game’s listing also states Mass Effect: Andromeda can be bought for $49.99. Players also receive access to a free 10-hour trial if they do not want the EA Origin service yet.
Just be sure the computer can handle the game too.
Here are the minimum system requirements below, copied from the Origin listing.
OS: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
PROCESSOR: Intel Core i5 3570 or AMD FX-6350
MEMORY: 8 GB RAM
VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB, AMD Radeon 7850 2GB
HARD DRIVE: At least 55 GB of free space
DIRECTX: DirectX 11
At least if Mass Effect: Andromeda does not work out, there are over 75 other games included in The Vault on Origin.
