Outlast 2 launch trailer will give you the creeps

Outlast 2 launch trailer
The first Outlast game was a terrifying experience. Red Barrel aims to continue the horror with the sequel, which comes out next week. A new Outlast 2 launch trailer is here to get horror fans ready with anticipation. It’s filled with a creepy song, eerie atmosphere, and lots of darkness.

Outlast 2 is a twisted new journey into the depths of the human mind and its dark secrets. Blake Langermann, a cameraman working with his wife Lynn, must take risks and dig deep to uncover the stories no one else will dare touch. As the two follow a trail of clues that started with the seemingly impossible murder of a pregnant woman known only as Jane Doe, the investigation leads them miles into the Arizona desert to a darkness so deep that no one could shed light upon it, and a corruption so profound that going mad may be the only sane thing to do.

There have been survival horror games in the past that try to scare you, and Outlast is one of the many new breeds of survival horror that actually makes you feel scared and nervous. You’re not some military soldier or an action hero. You’re a journalist with no combat experience. Soon you’ll discover that the only way to proceed is to hide and evade or else you’ll end up dead. The first game became a sleeper hit that scared many gamers in the night. In that game, you play as a journalist who investigates an abandoned asylum. Guess what, disturbing individuals populate the area.

Outlast 2 will be available on April 25th for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

If you haven’t gotten the chance to play the first Outlast game, don’t fret. The series collection, Outlast Trinity, will also be available on April 25th for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. It includes the original Outlast, the prologue/epilogue story Outlast Whistleblower, and Outlast 2.
