PlayStation Plus members get excited to hear the announcement of the upcoming free games every month. With a new year coming, many members were hoping for some big and exciting games in January. However, they were met with disappointment.
Here’s the list of games:
- Day of The Tentacle Remastered, PS4 (Cross buy on PS Vita)
- This War of Mine: The Little Ones, PS4
- Blazerush, PS3
- The Swindle, PS3 (Cross Buy on PS4 and PS Vita)
- Azkend 2, PS Vita
- Titan Souls, PS Vita (Cross Buy on PS4)
As I’m writing this, the announcement video on YouTube has reached a total of 18,248 votes. Only 3,757 people have given it a thumbs up. That’s just 21% of voters liking the lineup.
Here are some of the comments:
“Why are PlayStation plus games so garbage bruh”
“Oh good, my PS Plus membership ran out just in time.”
I’m actually looking forward to some of these titles. Day of the Tentacle Remastered is a time traveling, puzzle adventure where friends try to stop an evil mutated purple tentacle from world domination. This is one of Tim Schafer’s earlier works where he was one of the lead developers. Then there’s the depressing This War of Mine: The Little Ones. It’s a survival game where you will need to take care of a group of civilians in a war-torn country. If you have played Fallout Shelter, you’ll get an idea on the game’s mechanics. You will need to send some civilians out to collect medicine and supplies. Certain actions can make a civilian depressed, which can lead to them leaving, committing suicide, or attacking other party members.
