20th Century Fox has released the IMAX trailer for their upcoming science-fiction drama Ad Astra, highlighting Brad Pitt’s character Roy McBride’s relationship with his missing father and how much impact it had on his life. Ad Astra follows the story of Astronaut Roy McBride (Pitt) as he travels to the outer edges of the solar system to find his missing father and unravel a mystery that threatens the survival of our planet. His journey will uncover secrets that challenge the nature of human existence and our place in the cosmos.
Joining Pitt are Tommy Lee Jones (Captain America: The First Avenger) as his astronaut father, Ruth Negga (Preacher), Liv Tyler (The Leftovers) and Donald Sutherland (The Hunger Games). Pitt also produced the film alongside Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, James Gray, Anthony Katagas, Rodrigo Teixeira, Arnon Milchan
