Deadline has unveiled the trailer for Joseph Cross’s directorial debut Summer Night, a romantic comedy that follows a group of teenagers and the heartache and drama they endure at the end of a wild summer. Check out the trailer in the player below!

The film features a number of rising Hollywood stars, including Ian Nelson (The Hunger Games), Ellar Coltrane (Boyhood), Analeigh Tipton (Crazy Stupid Love), Elena Kampouris (Before I Fall), Victoria Justice (The Outcasts), Lana Condor (To All The Boys I Loved Before), Hayden Szeto (Truth or Dare), Callan McAuliffe (The Great Gatsby), Ella Hunt (Anna and the Apocalypse), Bill Milner (X-Men: First Class), Khris Davis (Detroit), Melina Vidler (800 Words) and Justin Chatwin (Shameless).

Cross makes his directorial debut after spending his career in front of the camera in films such as Jack Frost, Flags of Our Fathers, Milk, Lincoln, and, most recently, Netflix’s Mindhunter.
Summer Night will open in theaters July 12.
