The bomb detonated which killed Sykes, but all of the vampires were somehow unharmed. The cure was administered to Lila who had gotten bitten during her escape and it worked flawlessly. The group managed to escape from the Project Noah building with the assistance of a giant spotlight, but Richards was incapacitated during the escape. They made it to a neighboring road where they were picked up in a car by Lacey. Shauna showed up and helped Richards. Lacey made her way to the Project Noah headquarters and killed all of the people who had been turned. She convinced Jonas to help her by quoting Bible scripture at him.
