Charmed Season 1 Episode 13 Recap
In the previous episode of The CW’s Charmed, Macy made a deal with Julia to help save Parker in exchange for helping get the demon blood out of her. In Charmed season 1 episode 13, the Charmed Ones deal with a pixie, who killed a film student.
Manic Pixie Dream Girl
Parker invited Maggie and her sisters to a memorial for his friend, Judd. He livestreamed jumping to his death with his girlfriend, Chloe. Another student, Noah, had seen a flash of light during the stream, and Parker had realized it could be supernatural.
Chloe hadn’t died. She was a pixie, and the flash of light had been her flying away. After she tried to kill Noah, Harry showed the Charmed Ones the Pixionary, a pixie guide. Pixies were usually good, but this one was just doing as she was told. Fellow film student, Zack, had found a PIxionary and learned to trap one. He’d stolen her heart, an acorn necklace, and she was forced to do his bidding. Zack was trying to eliminate all the other white, male students in his class.
Zack had Chloe use her pixie dust on Harry to help them steal the Book of Shadows. He wanted a spell to make himself the greatest filmmaker in the world. With Parker’s help, Maggie woke Harry up from the pixie dust. Meanwhile, Mel got Chloe’s heart back from Zack. She put a Sarcana hex on him to confess his crimes to the police.
Chijiri
Macy’s research with Julia was working out for Parker. They had developed an experimental serum that worked temporarily. However, things were different for Macy. Her demon blood acted like an infection, while Parker’s was genetic.
Galvin wanted to help. He knew from his grandmother that a Chijiri could perform a ritual to exorcise the ibi out of her. Unfortunately, his grandmother was dead. Macy and Galvin went to see Mama Roz, who performed a séance so that Galvin could talk to her. She possessed Mama Roz, who took Galvin to another dimension to speak away from Macy. Galvin’s grandmother saw her as a devil. She explained to Galvin that he needed to seek out the Chijiri, who would test him. When he woke up, he told Macy, and though she objected, he was determined to help her.
Meet the Parents
Niko had called Jada, saying her parents wanted to see her. Jada explained to Mel that she was adopted, and when she discovered her powers, only the Sarcana helped her. Jada invited Mel to meet her parents, but that made Mel uncomfortable.
Mel changed her mind and went with Jada to meet them. A van pulled up, and men with crossbows ambushed them.
