Street Fighter II can be played in the comfort of your own home thanks to Capcom porting it to consoles. But what if you want the feeling of being at the arcades without actually going to the arcades? That’s where New Wave Toys comes in. The company will be releasing a miniature version of the Street Fighter II arcade cabinet called Street Fighter II: Champion Edition X RepliCade.
The Street Fighter II: Champion Edition X RepliCade is 1/6 scale (12-inch tall) arcade cabinet with 3.5” flat LCD color screen and a control panel with bat-style joystick and microswitch action buttons. It’s an accurate replica despite its size, and it’s officially licensed by Capcom. The miniature arcade comes with Street Fighter II: Champion Edition and Super Street Fighter II Turbo. Because of its size, the control panel only has room for one player. However, it does come with a USB mini fight stick for the second player. Alternatively, you can use a modern USB game controller.
