Deadly Class Season 1 Episode 6 Recap
In the previous episode of Deadly Class, Marcus and Billy killed Billy’s abusive father, Maria killed Chico and Marcus got absurdly high on LSD. What does this next installment have in store? Let’s find out as we recap Deadly Class season 1 episode 6 ‘Stigmata Martyr’!
Questioning
A month after the events in Las Vegas, Maria was interviewed by the principal of King’s Dominion about Chico’s death. The principal believed that Maria had killed Chico, but Maria denied it. The principal released Maria and brought Saya in for questioning. In his dorm room, Marcus was pontificating on the nature of depression. Marcus and Maria were now dating in secret and Marcus was having trouble keeping it that way. Maria tracked down Marcus in the showers and gave him a present for their one month anniversary. Billy barged in and got angry at this public display of affection. Outside, Billy explained the commonality between Schrodinger’s cat, religion, and women. Billy assured Marcus that he was comfortable with the murder of his father.
Grades
Later that day, Brandi questioned Maria about Chico’s death. Brandi asserted that she believed Maria had undoubtedly killed Chico, suddenly a group of intruders attacked. Brandi, Maria, and Saya quickly fought them all off. This was an exercise in Atypical Combat Skills class, the principal was observing and argued with the teacher over Brandi and Saya’s grades. In the bathroom, Maria and Saya discussed Chico’s death. Later, Marcus and Willie went to the local comic book store and Willie entrusted Marcus with the inner turmoil of his mental state. Marcus suggested visiting the school psychologist, but Willie was resistant to the idea. Back at school, Marcus found Maria and gave her a hand-made mixtape of some of his favorite romantic songs. Maria went back to her room and listened to the mixtape, while she got extremely drunk and looked through her old family photo album.
Rooftop Endeavours
Saya went to the roof and found Marcus. She told him of Maria’s bi-polar disorder and the fact that Maria had not been taking her medication for awhile. Marcus promised to find Maria and make sure she stayed on her medication. Before he could do so, Maria shot an arrow at Marcus. The arrow missed Marcus and he found Maria, the pair decided to engage in rooftop sexual intercourse. In Atypical Combat Skills, the principal visited once again and demanded that Brandi’s grade be changed. The teacher refused to do so, and the pair engaged in a rather one-sided fistfight. Brandi got out a knife and carved the grade she felt she deserved into the teacher’s forehead. Master Lin visited the principal, who was also his sister, and asked for an explanation regarding the Brandi situation. The siblings discussed their childhood and their combative relationship with each other. Marcus received a phone-call from Chester, a boy from the orphanage, who threatened to reveal Chico’s murder to Master Lin.
