The Runaways use their powers as a team in new promo

Hulu has released a brand new promo for the upcoming second season of their teen superhero series Marvel’s Runaways, highlighting how each member of the group will use their powers or strengths in order to defeat The Pride. All episodes of season 2 will premiere on December 21 on Hulu.

The Runaways have left their homes (and evil parents) behind and now have to learn to live on their own. As they scavenge for food, search for shelter, and take care of one another, our kids begin to realize that, for better or worse, they’re stuck with each other. And it’s up to them to take down PRIDE once and for all. But someone sent a mysterious message to Jonah… Is there a mole in the Runaways? Meanwhile, PRIDE is focused on finding their children, and Jonah has his own dangerous plan in mind.

The cast for the series includes Ariela Barer (New Girl, One Day at a Time) as Gert Yorkes, Lyrica Okano (The Affair, Unforgettable) as Nico Minoru–tough, Rhenzy Feliz (Teen Wolf, Casual) as Alex Wilder, Gregg Sulkin (Faking It, Don’t Hang Up, Anti Social) as Chase Stein, Virginia Gardner (Goat, Little Bitches) as Karolina Dean, and Allegra Acosta (100 Things to do Before High School, Just Add Magic) as Molly Hernandez. The O.C. and Gossip Girl creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage serve as co-showrunners/writers and executive produce the series along with Marvel’s Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory.
