Skullcandy announces Push, its first ever truly wireless earbuds

This year alone Skullcandy released two brand new headphones that showed the company was moving in a new direction. It was creating high-end headphones that were coming in at affordable prices, and to continue with that trend, Skullcandy announced today the launch of the brand new headphones, “Push,” its first truly wireless earbuds.

Push is a small and powerful pair of earbuds that offer a unique design that aids in the elimination of signal loss, all while offering easy controls with a single touch. A giant singular button on the side will give you access to the user interface, which will come with a wide range of control options such as answering phone calls, adjusting the volume, sifting through music tracks, and activating your smartphones assistant.

Skullcandy CMO Jessica Klodnicki said:

“It is a very exciting time for Skullcandy as we introduce our first True Wireless product to our youthful consumer base. Push is the latest example of the ongoing innovation our team is creating to showcase sound with unlimited possibilities, all while providing the very best audio experience for fans.”

To get you listening to your music for the day, Push will come with a 12-hour battery life which will come from 6 hours in the earbuds itself and an additional 6 hours from the intelligent charging case. To provide you with a comfortable and secure fit, the Push will be designed with Skullcandy’s “FitFin” ear gels. Unfortunately, the earbuds won’t be IP-rated, so wearing these earbuds while working out won’t be ideal.

The Push will be sold exclusively at Target until the end of the year with a retail price of $129.99. Starting January 15, 2019, the Push will be available at select retailers and Skullcandy.com. The earbuds will be available in only one colorway which Skullcandy calls Psychotropical Teal. Skullcandy has also set up a “Fearless Use Promise,” which allows users to repurchase an earbud or charging case at a discounted price if they are ever lost or stolen.
