The Library of Congress’ National Film Registry has added 25 new films that are considered to be “culturally, historically, or aesthetically” significant. These 25 films bring the total number of films to 750 that have been added over the past 30 years, which will be preserved by order of the National Film Preservation Act. You can check out the full list below!

The latest round of inductees includes Ang Lee’s adaptation of Larry McMurtry’s Brokeback Mountain, — which is also the newest film at only 13 years old. Other entries include Steven Spielberg’s blockbuster Jurassic Park, Stanley Kubrick’s reimagining of Stephen King’s The Shining, and the 1968 Monterey Pop documentary, famous for capturing a showstopping performance from Jimi Hendrix. Only two Best Picture winners appear, 1964’s My Fair Lady and the 1940 Alfred Hitchcock thriller Rebecca.

The National Film Registry turns 30 this year and for those three decades, we have been recognizing, celebrating and preserving this distinctive medium. These cinematic treasures must be protected because they document our history, culture, hopes and dreams,” said Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden.

Hayden will appear with Leonard Maltin on Turner Classic Movies tonight to discuss the latest round of inductees.
