The third and final Godzilla anime, Godzilla: Planet Eater (Godzilla: Hoshi wo Ku Mono), is heading to Netflix on January 9th. The film opened in 158 Japanese theaters and was 6th place during its opening weekend.
The first Godzilla movie, Godzilla: Planet of Monsters, opened in Japan in November 2017 and was released on Netflix in January 2018. The second film, Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle, opened in Japan in May of this year and available on Netflix in July. The third and final movie, Godzilla: Planet Eater, was released on November and will now be streamed on January 9th.
Gen Urobuchi of Nitroplus is credited for the story concept and screenplay. Yusuke Kozaki was responsible with the composition along with Urobuchi. Hiroyuki Seshita and Kobun Shizuno were directors for this at Polygon Pictures.
