Google Play announces several deals for Thanksgiving and Cyber Week
Looking to unwind over the long holiday weekend? Google Play has lined up a number of deals for Thanksgiving this year, as well as Cyber Week starting on Monday. The on-demand platform is offering steep discounts on both rentals and purchases of movies, TV shows, video games, and even audio and eBooks.
On Thanksgiving Day, any movie can be rented directly from Google Play for a mere 99 cents. Throughout Cyber Week, they’re offering marking down the purchase price on several recent-run films like Mama Mia: Here We Go Again and Teen Titans Go! To The Movies. Additionally, full seasons of TV shows like Game of Thrones and American Horror Story will also be marked down.
Not only that but their library of games, which includes titles like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, will be discounted by as much as 80%. Audiobooks and eBooks will also be drastically marked down throughout Cyber Week.
Customers can purchase a subscription to the premium channel STARZ through their platform for $5 a month for the first three months.
