Famke Janssen joins Scott Speer’s Endless

Famke Janssen has joined fellow X-Men actress Alexandra Shipp (Dark Phoenix) and Nicholas Hamilton (It) in Scott Speer’s Endless, according to Deadline.

The actress will play a single working-class mother whose son Chris (Hamilton) is involved in a fatal accident that leaves him stranded in limbo between life and death. The young boy witnesses the love of his life, Riley (Shipp), grieve until they find a way to connect and share deeply emotional moments that transcend the boundaries of life and death; and ultimately help them learn to let go.

Per the report, the film is currently in production in British Columbia. Ingenious Media, Anders Erdén and Daniel Negret executive producing alongside John Jencks, Jay Taylor and Joe Simpson of J Cubed Film Finance.

Janssen is best known for her performance as Jean Grey/Phoenix in the X-Men franchise, but has starred in a number of films and television shows including How to Get Away with Murder, the Taken series, Goldeneye, The Blacklist, and Hemlock Grove.

Speer has a number of films and TV shows on his resume, notable Step Up Revolution, and Scream: The TV Series.
