Camping Season 1 Episode 4 Recap
In the previous episode of HBO’s Camping, the guys went fishing, and Jandice announced her engagement to Miguel. Camping season 1 episode 4 had the group awake late at night.
Complete Tailspin
Jandice and Miguel’s loud sex was keeping the Jodells up. Kathryn went to ask them to quiet down, and Jandice offered her an Ambien. Kathryn took it, but unfortunately, it was Adderall instead. She remained amped for the rest of the night. A massage from Walt didn’t calm her, and a trip to the bathroom had her stumbling upon a fellow influencer’s glamping trip.
Nina-Joy had run into Allison, Nia, and Beth Ann first after arguing with George. But as soon as Kathryn came by, she left. Kathryn knew Allison from her Instagram/blogging connections. Allison clearly did not like Kathryn and tried desperately to get her to leave the entire night. Kathryn spent the evening talking about her health issues and trying to play games like Two Truths and a Lie and Truth or Dare. She revealed that Nina-Joy cheated on George for months, and she had been her confidant.
“Yes, Thank You”
Jandice talked to Miguel about her wedding plans, and Miguel reacted with little enthusiasm. She asked him what was wrong, and he admitted he didn’t want to get married. Miguel didn’t want to ruin what they had. Instead of continuing their late-night romp, they went to bed. Soon after he was asleep, Jandice left the tent, and Joe joined her.
Joe had taken food to Sol, who was on a hunger strike. Sol refused, but later, she had raided the group’s food. Frustrated, Joe took a six-pack of beer with him and shared it with Jandice. She claimed to be a Reiki healer and offered her services to Joe. He leaned forward to kiss her, but Jandice evaded by asking for another beer.
Perfectly Good Uterus
Carleen also came across the glamping group while looking for Joe. She and Kathryn argued over Carleen wasting her uterus when Kathryn had her health problems. Carleen was 44 and had yet to decide if she wanted children. But with Joe’s substance problems, his non-committal nature, and his preference of Sol’s mother, she was not ready. Uninhibited, Kathryn told Carleen she had seen Joe with Jandice.
