Timothee Chalamet is into other things in new Beautiful Boy clip
Ahead of the film’s theatrical release tomorrow, Amazon Studios has released a brand new clip for their upcoming family drama Beautiful Boy. Featuring Academy Award nominated actors Steve Carell as David and Timothée Chalamet as Nic Sheff trying to come up with things they can do together while also finding out that they’re both into other things now. Beautiful Boy is based on the best-selling pair of memoirs from father and son David and Nic Sheff. The film chronicles the heartbreaking and inspiring experience of survival, relapse, and recovery in a family coping with addiction over many years.
The cast of Beautiful Boy includes Carell (Battle of the Sexes, Welcome to Marwen), Chalamet (Call Me By Your Name, Lady Bird), Maura Tierney (The Affair) as Karen Barbour, Kaitlyn Dever (Last Man Standing) as Lauren, Stefanie Scott (Insidious: Chapter 3) as Julia, Amy Ryan (Bridge of Spies) as Vicki Sheff and Jack Dylan Grazer (IT: Chapter 2, Shazam!) as young Nic Sheff.
The film is directed by Belgian film director Felix van Groeningen (The Broken Circle Breakdown) from a screenplay by Luke Davies (Lion) and van Groeningen, Amazon will release Beautiful Boy in theaters on October 12, 2018.
