Black Cat was featured in Marvel’s Spider-Man, the Insomniac-developed open world PS4 game that truly captures what it’s like to be Peter Parker and his alter ego. However, she was working behind the scenes, so players didn’t get the chance to see her. That’s all going to change when The Heist DLC is coming out next Tuesday, which is part of the Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps DLC Series. In addition, there will be three new suits.
You can check out the new art featuring Black Cat and her suit by Marvel illustrator and suit designer Adi Granov. The suit is definitely more modest compared to her iconic comic book version. (That means she won’t be showing off her cleavage.) Furthermore, it’s more protective with a sleeker design. At the core, fans will still recognize Black Cat with her white hair, eye mask and skin-tight black suit. As for her personality, she’s still teasing Spider-Man with comments like, “Catch me if you can.”
The Heist is the first part of the 3-part DLC series, and it will follow Spider-Man and Mary Jane as they deal with Peter Parker’s former love interest, Felicia Hardy, aka Black Cat. The story starts with an art museum robbery and the DLC will be filled with new story missions, enemies, crimes, challenges, trophies and three suits.
One of the three new suits is the Resilient Suit, which is designed by Marvel illustrator Gabriele Dell’Otto. The other two are Scarlet Spider II and the Spider-Verse’s Spider-UK suit.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: The Heist DLC can be purchased on the PlayStation Store for $9.99, but you can save by getting Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps DLC series for $24.99 that’ll include all three chapters. (The other two chapters will be released later this year.)
Marvel’s Spider-Man: The Heist will be released on October 23, 2019.
