The Lodge 49 episode 5 promo asks if paradise exists
AMC has released a new promo and sneak peek for the fifth episode of their new dramedy series Lodge 49, which airs Mondays after Better Call Saul. Check out the teaser for next week’s episode below!
Lodge 49 follows Dud (Wyatt Russell), a man who suffered an incident which made it impossible to enjoy his favorite pastime. Dud drifted among life before finding a fraternal lodge. One that offers both cheap beer and philosophies.
The episode four preview, titled “Does Paradise Exist,” finds Dud floating in a pool longing for paradise, while his boss, Connie, (Linda Emond) explains the story of Paul Gauguin, a stockbroker who quit his job to become an artist, then later sailed to Tahiti and gave have the island syphilis. “There’s no such thing as paradise,” Connie tells him, to which Dud simply replies, “Yes, there is.”
Does paradise really exist? And if it does, will Dud find it in Long Beach, California? If he does find it, will he be able to convince Connie that it’s real? We won’t find out until the episode of Lodge 49, “Does Paradise Exist,” airs this Monday on AMC.
