New A Simple Favor poster: We all have secrets to hide
The upcoming thriller A Simple Favor has added another poster to its gallery. This one plays off the same trippy, art-deco design as the one released earlier this week, though instead fractured images of the stars’ faces, we see its two leads striking a pose that hints at the mystery at the film’s center. A Simple Favor centers around Stephanie (Anna Kendrick), a mommy vlogger who seeks to uncover the truth behind her best friend Emily’s (Blake Lively) sudden disappearance from their small town. Stephanie is joined by Emily’s husband Sean (Henry Golding) in this stylish thriller filled with twists and betrayals, secrets and revelations, love and loyalty, murder and revenge.

The film also stars Andrew Rannells (Big Mouth), Linda Cardellini (The Founder), Jean Smart (Legion), and Rupert Friend (Homeland). A Simple Favor is directed by Paul Feig (2016’s Ghostbusters) from the screenplay written by Jessica Sharzer. The story is based on the novel of the same name by Darcy Bell. Feig produces the film alongside Jessie Henderson.
A Simple Favor will be released in theaters on September 14.
