Insatiable Season 1 Episode 11 Recap

In the previous episode of Netflix’s Insatiable, Patty binged on a sheet cake after publicly outing the Bobs. In Insatiable Season 1 Episode 11, Patty must deal with the consequences of her actions.

Ten Pounds

The sheet cake was only the beginning of Patty’s binge. Out of depression, she had eaten enough to gain ten pounds. But regionals were coming in a week, and she had to lose weight quickly. Coralee suggested Brick’s help since he was used to having to make weight. Throughout the week, she ran twice a day and drank a cleanse-like concoction. She was getting back to pageant form.

Stalker

Patty thought that Christian was stalking her. He showed up with a present when Patty sought out Nonnie. He was parked on the street where she was running with Brick. And she had come home to that same present on her bed. Having patched things up with Coralee and Brick, she would stay with them while her mother was gone. Brick lent her a stun gun and stayed with her in his room so she would feel safe.

Smoothing Things Over

Insatiable Season 1 Episode 11 Recap

Magnolia and Barnard told Roxie the truth: Barnard was her father. Roxie was upset because of how her life had ended up after being abandoned by both parents. But after speaking with Stella Rose, Roxie went to the Barnards’ house for comfort. She no longer wanted Stella Rose to coach her, but she still needed help. Armstrong had an idea: the Bobs would coach her for regionals.

“Winners Win. Period.”

Patty stumbled on Regina waiting in the Armstrongs’ kitchen. Regina had let herself in to present a proposal and marketing plan for Tampazzle. Patty kicked Regina out, but somehow, it had gotten to Coralee. She presented it to her father-in-law, who suggested all kinds of distasteful organizations as investors. When Coralee declined, he then pointed out her only option was to get seed money through her divorce.

Brokeback

Insatiable Season 1 Episode 11 Recap

Coralee wanted a divorce. While Armstrong loved Barnard, he was heartbroken and grieving his marriage. To get him to embrace his new life, Barnard took Armstrong to a gay club, but it was not for him.

Barnard tricked Armstrong and Coralee into meeting at the law office for personal mediation. Coralee and Armstrong confessed how much they missed each other. Barnard decided to make the decision for Armstrong and passionately kissed him goodbye in front of Coralee. She said she was jealous, but in an unexpected way. She kissed Barnard, and the three of them wanted to try being together.

The Power of Making Amends

Drew Barrymore was in town for a book signing. Patty bought two tickets, hoping to take Nonnie to make amends. Nonnie told her she wasn’t ready to end their break. Patty asked Brick to go with her, and he agreed.

Patty didn’t show up to the signing. Armstrong had told Patty he would be coaching Roxie, her biggest competition. Patty decided she had to sabotage Roxie to win. She stole the Wiener Taco food truck and disguised herself in the mascot costume.

When Brick called Patty, Nonnie was with him at the signing, and she told Patty she wanted to be friends again. But when Patty saw Roxie exit the gym, she quickly ended the call. She zapped Roxie with the stun gun. But Patty was hit with a dart and was knocked out.
