H1Z1: Battle Royale, the third and first-person battle royale shooter, became really popular when it launched in Open Beta for the PlayStation 4 in May. Since then it has amassed over 10 million downloads, and today, the game is now officially out for free. The release adds new weapons and a special vehicle. And if you’re looking to customize your character, then the Battle Pass and two new launch bundles can help with that.
With the Battle Pass Season 1, you can unlock up to 30 rewards levels via different tiers (free, premium, and PS Plus). The premium line is available for $5.49, with PS Plus members getting the PS Plus line. The new weapons include the RPG via gold tier airdrops and the SOCOM Sniper Rifle via purple tier airdrops. The ARV is the new vehicle that can fit up to five members from the team with a hatch for a player to shoot from the top. To customize your characters, there are the Viper Starter bundle available for $4.99 and Hardline Deluxe bundle that includes the Premium Battle Pass for $34.99.
