San Diego Comic-Con is almost upon us, and Nerdist will be making a big appearance with all-day entertainment and refreshments, special social hours and fan parties, live Nerdist shows, interviews and conversations, meet & greets, a VR experience, merchandise, and more. Nerdist House begins Thursday, July 19th until Sunday, July 22nd and will be located at Sparks Gallery on 530 Sixth Avenue. To make things even better, no Comic-Con badge is needed, so everyone is welcome to come for the price of free.
As for shows, there will be live editions of Nerdist News Talks Back, Talkin’ Toons, Because Science, and more. Adi Shankar (Bootleg Universe, Netflix’s Castlevania) will be a featured guest. Leonard Maltin will be in attendance for a special Maltin on Movies presentation featuring guests from Cut Throat City, RZA, Shameik Moore, Kat Graham, and Terrence Howard.
The VR experience will be inspired by the sci-fi series SONA. Saturday night will be the celebration of Bizarre States podcast’s 200th episode with hosts Jessica Chobot and Andrew Bowser hosting.
