National City is attacked as Supergirl returns home in new promo
Following last night’s episode of the series, The CW has released the first promo for the next episode of Supergirl as Kara decides to be reunited with her mother, who she just learned is still alive! This leaves National City without the girl of steel though…Check it out in the player below!
Titled “Not Kansas” and set to air June 4, the episode is officially described as follows: “KARA CONSIDERS A MAJOR LIFE CHANGE – Kara (Melissa Benoist) makes a major life decision. Meanwhile, J’onn (David Harewood) finds out that special DEO-caliber guns have hit the streets of National City.”
Dermott Downs directed the episode which was written by Gabriel Llanas & Anna Musky-Goldwyn.
Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist as Kara Danvers/Supergirl, Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers, Jeremy Jordan as Winslow ‘Winn’ Schott, Chris Wood as Mon-El, Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor, Odette Annable as Sam/Reign, and David Harewood as Hank Henshaw/J’onn J’onnz.
Based on the DC characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, the series is executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Robert Rovner and Jessica Queller. Supergirl is produced by Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
