Lionsgate has released trailer today for Escape Plan 2: Hades, the sequel to the 2013 Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger prison break thriller. Make sure you check it out in the player below!
Escape Plan 2 is directed by Steven C. Miller (Marauders, Arsenal). Original screenwriter Miles Chapman returned to pen the sequel.
Years after he fought his way out of an inescapable prison, Ray Breslin (Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner Sylvester Stallone) has organized a new top-notch security force. But when one of his team members goes missing, Breslin must return to the hell he once escaped from to save his friend from the prison’s brutal human battleground known as Hades.
The original Escape Plan followed one of the world’s foremost authorities on structural security, who agrees to take on one last job: breaking out of an ultra-secret, high-tech facility called “The Tomb.” Deceived and wrongly imprisoned, Ray Breslin (Stallone) must recruit fellow inmate Emil Rottmayer (Schwarzenegger) to help devise a daring, nearly impossible plan to escape from the most protected and fortified prison ever built.
Escape Plan 2: Hades stars Sylvester Stallone, Dave Bautista, Curtis Jackson, Xiaoming Huang, Jesse Metcalfe, Jamie King and Alphonso A’Qen-Aten Jackson.
Escape Plan 2: Hades will premiere on Blu-ray, Digital, and On Demand on June 29, 2018.
