Warner Bros. celebrates Rampage monster week

In celebration of the upcoming action thriller starring Dwayne Johnson, Warner Bros. has set up a Rampage monster week in honor of the movie and its fans.

First up, fans can now unleash genetically super-sized creatures in the biggest environments possible via the brand new Rampage: AR Unleashed — an augmented reality app that will bring the destruction of the movie Rampage into your world! Get creative and stage the perfect scene with George the gorilla, Ralph the wolf, and Lizzie the alligator using the app’s AR scene creator. Activate two different attack modes and watch as these creatures wreak havoc on your own environment. You can also scan Rampage movie posters to see George smash through into your surroundings. The app is available for download from the app store.

Next up is the Rampage Monsters Unleashed Contest, which is available for U.S.-based fans. Enter the contest for a chance to win a trip to the LA premiere and meet & greet with Dwayne Johnson. Fans can enter by creating your own video using the Rampage: AR Unleashed app and sharing on social media using #RampageMonstersUnleashedContest. Dwayne Johnson kicked off the contest via his Instagram yesterday, which you can check out in the video below. Learn more and enter at Rampage Monsters Unleashed Contest.

Throughout Rampage Monster Week, Warner Bros. will also be rolling out new art posters from Poster Posse in honor of the film. For fans located in SoCal, they will be handing out three more limited edition posters at WonderCon in Anaheim, CA this weekend. If you are attending, be sure to check out the Rampage booth right on the convention floor. You can view the posters on Rampage‘s social channels all week — in the gallery below you can view one of the posters by Stephen Sampson. For more posters, keep checking back on Rampage’s Twitter.

Speaking of WonderCon, Warner Bros. will be showcasing their brand-new specially updated Rampage arcade games for con attendees to try out on the convention floor. In addition, as mentioned above, they will have limited edition poster giveaways — a new poster each day of the con!

Wrapping up Monster Week is Monster Jam in Las Vegas, where Rampage will be featured at the event on Saturday, March 24. There will be three specially-designed “creatures” aka monster trucks at the event. The trucks will be revealed on Friday, March 23.

Enjoy Monster Week, Rampage fans, and don’t forget to catch the movie in theaters on April 13! In the meantime, check out our set visit and find out the big changes the movie makes from the video games.
