Previously, the official Blizzard Twitter account Tweeted out a promo video that left some fans curious about Diablo III. Some fans asked if this video could mean that the game was coming to the Nintendo Switch. In response, a representative from Blizzard stated the following:
We cannot confirm this rumour. As of now, we do not have any current plans to announce Diablo for Switch. This tweet was meant to be a fun engagement piece. We do not have any plans to announce Diablo for Switch.
As a follow-up to all of this, an insider at Blizzard allegedly informed Eurogamer that the game IS in production for the Switch. The insider also claimed that the official reveal for this announcement would be a few months off from now. So, if this all turns out to be true, then Blizzard should have some OFFICIAL and exciting news just a few months down the line. But for the time being, this is only a rumor, so this information should only be taken lightly.
