Pitbull joins the UglyDolls movie
Mr. Worldwide himself expands his reach to the animated realm, as STX Entertainment announced Pitbull is joining the UglyDolls franchise. The Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum recording artist will be lending his many talents to the upcoming UglyDolls movie as a songwriter and one of the world’s most recognizable voices.
Pitbull is going to be writing and performing an original song for the film. He will also play a key role in the animated feature, voicing one of the major characters. The international hitmaker had this to say about the collaboration:
“It’s truly an honor to have the opportunity to work alongside the STX team and be involved with UglyDolls. The brand takes a fun approach to universal messages no matter color, culture or creed. These are themes I am passionate about, and our team is very excited about this partnership.”
In the UglyDolls movie, our UglyDolls confront what it means to be different, struggle with their desire to be loved, and ultimately discover that you don’t have to be perfect to be amazing because who you truly are is what matters most.
UglyDolls will be out in theaters sometime in 2019, and will serve as the launching point for the franchise.
