Disney reveals the Christopher Robin poster
The Walt Disney Studios today revealed the new poster for their upcoming movie Disney’s Christopher Robin. It’s a nice little tease showing everyone’s favorite cute, red-shirt-wearing, honey-loving yellow teddy bear, leading up to the first trailer reveal tomorrow. In the heartwarming live-action adventure Disney’s Christopher Robin, the young boy who loved embarking on adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood with a band of spirited and lovable stuff animals, has grown up and lost his way. Now it is up to his childhood friends to venture into our world and help Christopher Robin remember the loving and playful boy who is still inside.
Ewan McGregor (Beauty and the Beast, T2 Trainspotting) stars in the movie as the adult Christopher Robin. He’s joined by co-star Haley Atwell (Agent Carter, Captain America: The First Avenger) as Evelyn, Christopher Robin’s wife, and Mark Gatiss as Giles Winslow, Christopher Robin’s boss.
Of course, the cast of iconic characters from the Hundred Acre Wood will be in the film. Voicing them are Jim Cummings as Winnie the Pooh, Chris O’Dowd as Tigger, Nick Mohammed as Piglet, Brad Garrett as Eeyore, Peter Capaldi as Rabbit, Sophie Okonedo as Kanga, and Toby Jones as Owl.
The movie is directed by Marc Forster and written by Allison Schroeder of Hidden Figures fame.
Disney’s Christopher Robin is out in theaters on August 3, 2018.
