Avengers: Infinity War is going to be a huge event and will bring back a lot of Marvel characters like Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Black Widow, the Hulk, Peter Quill, Gamora, and more. A movie with these many heroes going up against Thanos, who is one of the biggest villains in comic book history, is a perfect fit for IMAX screens. Directors Joe and Anthony Russo have shot the whole movie using IMAX cameras, making the film the first Hollywood film to be shot entirely on the IMAX cameras.

The Russo Brothers used the ALEXA IMAX 64mm camera to film Avengers: Infinity War. The 2D digital camera was developed in partnership with ARRI and IMAX, and along with the IMAX digital re-mastering process, it offers the highest level of digital image capture and playback for pristine clarity, fine detail, vivid colors, and a higher dynamic range.
