Here’s an odd lineup that was recently announced. Metal icons Avenged Sevenfold, the relatively new supergroup Prophets of Rage, and underground rap duo Ho99o9 announced a tour of the United States (with Three Days Grace in spots that Ho99o9 won’t be at). The tour kicks off on July 22nd and concludes on September 2nd. There are 22 dates total.
Avenged Sevenfold is touring in support of its latest 2016 album, The Stage. Even though it was released with very little marketing, it has received praise from being vastly different from previous releases (shameless plug #1: our review can be seen HERE.) Prophets of Rage released their self-titled debut album in September of last year. The supergroup consists of 3 members from Rage Against the Machine, 2 members from Public Enemy, and 1 member from Cypress Hill. Ho99o9 also released their full length debut album last year as well (shameless plug #2: they are up for nomination in our latest FLH Music Awards HERE.)
