Jesper Kyd has composed music for video games like the Assassin’s Creed series, Hitman series, State of Decay series, Borderlands II, and Darksiders II. And soon fans of the composer will get to hear his tracks in Warhammer: Vermintide 2. (I know I’m looking forward to it.)
This marks Kyd’s return as he composes a new original soundtrack for the sequel to the first-person melee/shooter, Warhammer: The End Times – Vermintide. The game is based on Game Workshop’s Warhammer Fantasy Battles world, and Vermintide 2 will feature Chaos, a Norse tribe and an enemy faction.
The soundtrack is inspired by Norse mythology, and Kyd’s score will feature ancient tribal music and dark magic fantasy elements.
