Nintendo has had some hits and misses in the mobile business, but they're just getting started. The company is sticking with mobile for the long haul, and Nintendo's president Tatsumi Kimishima says a main goal is to bump up profits from these projects. He shared the sentiment in a Nikkei interview (loose translation below).
We’ve published Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp and more, but we still haven’t raised them profit-wise. From here on we want to work on various things like upgrading the insides of them.
