Black Panther is a huge hit, and it’s impressive to see a solo superhero movie making $202 million during its opening weekend. Millions of people are excited about the Wakandan hero, and now guests at the Disneyland Resort will have the chance to meet him in person. Black Panther and his Royal Guards, the Dora Milaje, will be roaming around the Hollywood Backlot area. But hurry, he’ll only be making an appearance for a limited time.
Black Panther is the first superhero of African descent in mainstream American comics back in 1966. Viewers first saw the Marvel hero on the big screen in Captain America: Civil War. The latest film has him leading his own film and continues after the events of Civil War. T’Challa will have to earn his right as king of Wakanda after the death of his father. However, a mysterious enemy has plans to overthrow the country that can plunge the world into chaos.
Black Panther is now in theaters, and guests can see the hero in person at Disney California Adventure.
