The next big merch push from Nintendo has been revealed. The Big N is partnering up with Bloomingdale's to run a “Let’s Play” campaign, which kicks off March 10th. The Let's Play line will include exclusive merchandise, in-store events, and activations. You'll be able to find the goods at select Bloomingdale's locations, as well as bloomingdales.com/Nintendo.
Expect apparel, furnishings, and accessories by Sovereign Code, Onia, Original Penguin, Gitman Vintage, Barneys Cool, Bricktown, and Herschel. There will also be S’well water bottles and Sunnylife ping-pong paddles adorned with classic Super Mario character images, along with Funboy inflatable tubes. In addition, some stores will house Let’s Play pop-up shops that feature gaming stations where shoppers can try their hand at classic Nintendo games.
“With the 90’s nostalgia happening in fashion and pop-culture, Nintendo is the perfect partner to take over the Bloomingdale’s spring campaign. We are continually trying to enhance our customer experience and partnering with Nintendo on in-store activations and limited-edition merchandise reinforces the notion that fashion is about having fun.” - Kevin Harter, Bloomingdale’s Group Vice President, Integrated Marketing
