Switch outsells Wii U's total install base in Japan

This is both fantastic and sad news all at once. The Wii U managed to move just 3.3 million units in Japan in its entire lifespan. Quite a disappointment for Nintendo. Now on the flip slide, the Switch has sold over 3.3 million units in Japan in just 9 months. If you ever needed more proof of how successful the Switch is, you now have it.
