Redout still coming to Switch, taking longer than expected, but proceeding well

It is proceeding very well, but again, no release date is confirmed yet... considering this, it's your call :/

It's rather common, actually! Another company's is doing the Switch port, plus producing physical cartridges involves a whole lot of talking to external companies. We are well underway though!

Hopefully all the waiting will be worth it, and the game isn't plagued with technical issues. Usually a long wait makes me nervous, but Yooka-Laylee turned out to be a fantastic port. I'll keep my fingers crossed for the same outcome with Redout.
