iam8bit Limited Edition Street Fighter II Cartridge Now Shipping

iam8bit and Capcom celebrated Street Fighter's 30th Anniversary by announcing a limited edition of Street Fighter II playable on Super Nintendo Entertainment System compatible hardware last August. The sold out collector's item is now shipping and iam8bit has released a new unboxing video.

Each cartridge is newly manufactured and will come in one of two available colors: Opaque Ryu Red or Translucent Glow-in-the-Dark Blanka Green, housing the original game code and fully playable on NTSC consoles.

Street Fighter II will feature restored versions of the original box art and will include:

Brand-New Playable SNES Cartridge (Limited Edition of 5,500)*
Tri-Fold Box w/ Foil, Gloss & Embossments
Premium Instruction Booklet
Retro Pack-In Surprises
Package Design & Restoration by Jango Snow Art & Design

*Cartridge colorways are randomly inserted into sealed, unmarked boxes and versions shipped out cannot be guaranteed. The edition of 5,500 is comprised of: Opaque Ryu Red (4,500 total); and Translucent, Glow-in-the-Dark Blanka Green (1,000 total).
