Watch the new ‘Hide & Seek’ trailer for The Alienist on TNT

A new trailer entitled “Hide & Seek” has been released for The Alienist, the eagerly-anticipated psychological thriller based on the Anthony Award-winning international bestseller by Caleb Carr. The seires stars Daniel Brühl, Luke Evans, and Dakota Fanning. You can check out The Alienist trailer in the player below, and watch the series premiere January 22, 2018 on TNT!

Set in 1896 amidst the vast wealth, extreme poverty and technological innovation of New York during the Gilded Age, The Alienist follows the hunt for a series killer responsible for the gruesome murders of boy prostitutes. Daniel Brühl (Rush, The Bourne Ultimatum), Luke Evans (The Girl on The Train, Dracula Untold), Dakota Fanning (American Pastoral, War of the Worlds) and Brian Geraghty (The Hurt Locker, My Days of Mercy) star in the series, which follows the hunt for a serial killer responsible for the gruesome murders of boy prostitutes.

With BAFTA-nominated director Jakob Verbruggen (Black Mirror) at the helm, The Alienist also stars Douglas Smith (Miss Sloane), Matthew Shear (Mistress America), Matt Lintz (Pixels), Robert Wisdom (The Wire) and Q’orianka Kilcher (The New World).

The series is is a co-production of Paramount Television and Turner’s Studio T, with Verbruggen, Emmy winner Cary Fukunaga (True Detective), Academy Award winner Eric Roth (Forrest Gump), Academy Award nominee Hossein Amini (Drive), E. Max Frye (Foxcatcher) and Anonymous Content’s Steve Golin and Rosalie Swedlin serving as executive producers and Marshall Persinger (Rectify) as co-executive producer.
