Nintendo wants households to have more than one Switch

Nintendo isn't interested in selling the Switch like it does with most of its consoles. Usually you see one console per household, but the story is different with portables. Nintendo saw multiple people living within a house purchase a 3DS, or the DS before it. They have the same goal with Switch, hoping it becomes a device multiple people within a single household pick up.
