- EA was the No.1 boxed games publisher of the month
- Activision jumps to No.2
- Nintendo is pushed down to No.3 following several months at the top
- Switch sold more games during September than at any previous month since it launched
- Pokken Tournament DX came in at No.26, Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition at No.33, and Metroid: Samus Returns at No.35
