Star Wars fans aren’t excited about the Han Solo movie title reveal

Han Solo Solo: A Star Wars Story

I’m still trying to get used to Ron Howard as the new director for the Han Solo movie, and I do feel for former co-directors Chris Miller and Phil Lord, who have done some fun films like The LEGO Movie and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.

Well, Howard and the Lucasfilm gang have just wrapped production of the Han Solo movie, and the director has announced the official title of the film on his Twitter account.

Check out the title announcement video below.

The Han Solo movie will be titled, Solo: A Star Wars Story. Hmm, why couldn’t they just name it Han Solo? His name is already popular, but taking out “Han” is definitely going to make some people think of something else.

Here’s what Howard said in the video:

“Hi. Well, as we wrap up production I just wanted to take this moment to thank an incredibly talented cast and crew for all their hard work. And to the fans out there, I hope you’ve enjoyed the pictures that I’ve been sharing, pictures I’ve been taking from the set of… Can we even say the name of the movie?”

A Wookie gives Howard the title card for Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Howard finished with, “I’ll see you next year.”

Well, there are some fans that aren’t excited about the official Han Solo film title with some poking fun at it. Warning, strong language ahead.

So what do you think about the Han Solo movie’s official title? Let us know in the comments section below.

Solo: A Star Wars Story blasts into theaters on May 25, 2018.
