Sonic Forces demo will not release in the West

I have no idea why, but SEGA has confirmed that the Sonic Forces demo available in Japan is not going to see release stateside. I'm guessing it has something to do with the audience. Japan hasn't really been into Sonic games in recent years, but the audience in NA/EU is healthy. Oh well, we can always hop on the Japanese Switch eShop and grab the demo anyway!
